Backpackers accommodation in Cape Tribulation

Cape Tribulation has several backpackers resorts, with dormitory accommodation, double rooms and family rooms.
The first two budget accommodation places are by the beach, one on Myall Beach and one on Cape Tribulation Beach.
Rainforest Hideaway is near Myall Beach in Cape Tribulation and Crocodylus is in Cow Bay, about halfway between the Daintree river and Cape Tribulation.

Cape Trib Beach House

Beautifully located on Cape Tribulation Beach, the Cape Trib Beach House puts you right in the middle of some of the oldest rainforest alive today while still being right on the edge of the coral sea. You can swim right off the beach and see living coral reef, with schools of bright fish. Wander through the forest and you spot the elusive cassowary or one of many other rare creatures that make this forest their home.

Rainforest Hideaway

Rainforest Hideaway at Cape Tribulation is not a backpackers but offers an excellent option for those looking for budget accommodation but not wanting to share a dorm with others.
For only $95.- a night a couple can have their own cabin, and breakfast is included!

Crocodylus

We are situated in between the World Heritage rainforest areas of the Daintree and Cape Tribulation National Parks and the Great Barrier Reef. This is a unique location for a youth hostel. Everyone is welcome at the Crocodylus village, and will enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere. Our jungle restaurant provides beautiful homely meals. Being in a remote area, we generate our own electricity and have our own general store. There are miles upon miles of sandy beach which can be reached on our bus service for free! We also offer a wide variety of activities. All run by local people, giving it that friendly touch.
